Biodex system helps to eliminate joint trauma during the exercise process, allowing patients to strengthen muscles and be tested at more functional speeds without the fear of causing injury. Resistance continuously matches effort, accommodating to variations in patient force output due to weakness, pain or fatigue at specific points in the individual’s range of motion.

The Objective Data obtained from the Biodex helps us to communicate need, progress and outcome clearly and accurately to determine the patients overall rehabilitation goals and future plan. Developed graphic reports clearly and concisely compare patient’s status to normative data as well as to their uninvolved extremity for all joints, and helps communicate the information for the patients, doctors, third party payers and employers. The Biodex system is used worldwide by many professional and collegiate sporting affiliations and is an essential component to the successful rehabilitation process for patients to get them back to their pre-injury status and at the same time reducing the risk of future injury.
